On October 13, the design renderings of the competition venues for the 6th Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026 were officially unveiled to the public, sparking widespread excitement and anticipation for the upcoming international sporting event.

A total of 14 competition venues have been planned, most of which are located along the natural coastline of Sanya Bay in Tianya District, showcasing the city’s deep integration of sports and seaside scenery. Construction is moving ahead at full speed, with all venues scheduled for phased completion and handover by the end of this year.

The locations and events hosted by each venue are as follows:

Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area (West Side): Beach Volleyball, Beach Handball, and Sport Climbing

Yuhai Club Space, Sanya Bay: Beach Soccer, Beach Wrestling, Jiu-jitsu, Teqball

Haihong Plaza, Sanya Bay: Sailing

Wedding Photography Space, Sanya Bay: Aquathlon (Swim&Run)

Haiyue Plaza, Sanya Bay: Open Water Swimming and Water Polo

Pingshui Beach, Sanya Bay: Beach Kabaddi

Phoenix Island: Beach Athletics

Sanya River: Dragon Boat Racing

Sanya Sports Center Gymnasium Center: 3x3 Basketball
