Recently, the 6th Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026 (Sanya 2026) Organising Committee (SABGOC) received a special letter of appreciation from the International Sports Press Association (AIPS).

In the letter, AIPS President Gianni Merlo extended his Chinese New Year greetings to SABGOC's Publicity and Media Services Department. He appreciated the warm reception and careful planning during the World Press Briefing and the World Broadcasters Meeting for Sanya 2026. Merlo also expressed deep appreciation for SABGOC's hospitality and professionalism. Furthermore, he praised the thorough planning and smooth management of the Games’ media operations, highlighting that the detailed arrangements and attentive services made a positive and lasting impression on the media representatives present.

Looking ahead to Sanya 2026, from April 22 to 30, he expressed strong enthusiasm and confidence that Sanya will host an outstanding sporting event packed with thrilling moments and memorable experiences.
