On November 14, the six-day “Walking in China—2025 Overseas Chinese Media Tour of Hainan” came to a successful close in Sanya.

During the tour, representatives from 20 overseas Chinese media outlets, spanning more than 10 countries and regions, visited Haikou, Chengmai, Danzhou, Dongfang, Ledong, and Sanya. Through in-depth visits to major industrial parks, innovation zones, and cultural attractions, the delegation gained firsthand insight into the development momentum of the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP). With their cameras and pens, they captured and conveyed an image of an open, dynamic, and rapidly emerging Hainan to global audiences.

On November 13 and 14, the delegation visited Sanya, where they toured the Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City, Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, the Sanya Central Business District, and the Sanya International Yacht Center.

“Seeing so many research institutions and enterprises gathered in Yazhou Bay working on seed science has shown me how quickly China’s agricultural technology is advancing,” said Du Yuyao, Deputy Chief Editor of the Brazil Chinese Network. “Brazil and China are two major agricultural countries, and I hope this can promote greater technological exchanges and cooperation between our nations, especially with Hainan.”

Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park is one of Hainan’s signature coastal rainforest destinations, enriching the Hainan FTP’s green and cultural identity by continuously expanding its cultural and ecological experience programs. “I was deeply impressed by Orchid Valley and the filming location of If You Are the One inside the park,” said Wu Zhaohui, Assistant to the President of the Philippine World Journal. “Hainan is not only about its coastline; it also has mountains, tropical rainforests, and rich ecological resources. Once I get back to the Philippines, I will definitely promote Hainan’s natural environment.”

“Over the past few days, I have seen the tremendous development potential Hainan holds,” said Zhou Yu, Deputy Chief Editor of Laos News Agency Online. “We will continue to strengthen international communication so that more people around the world can learn about Hainan.”
